Retirement of the Mitel SX-200 EL Packages

 

With the success of the SX-200 ICP, Mitel has announced the retirement of the SX-200 EL Packages & EL Upgrades.  The SX-200 ICP will supersede the existing SX-200 EL product.

 

Mitel’s commitment to the small and medium business sector is stronger today than ever, with new solutions based on the highly successful Mitel SX-200 Integrated Communications Platform (ICP).  The SX-200 ICP is driven around recognition of both Solution Provider and Small and Medium market requirements, and it provides:

 

·         A cost effective solution that can meet the voice and application requirements of end users today - including wireless, unified messaging, teleworking, contact centers, etc., along with the ability to network systems and scale up as organizations expand.

·         Ongoing software enhancements that strengthen Small and Medium Business (SMB) customer’s ability to enjoy high end applications previously unavailable or too expensive.

·         Simple migration for existing Mitel SX-200 Digital/LIGHT/ML/EL systems, allowing customers to move to converged infrastructures with very competitive pricing. 

 

Looking forward, Mitel’s development plans on the SX-200 ICP include more features and capabilities directed specifically at the small and medium business sector.  To this end, Mitel has announced the retirement of the SX-200 EL, SX-200 EL upgrades and associated equipment. 

 

SX-200 EL customers may take advantage of the SX-200 Trade-Up to SX-200 ICP Program to replace an existing SX-200 EL system installation.  All software options and licenses are re-licensed at no charge as part of the program.  Migrating an SX-200 ML/EL/Digital to an SX-200 ICP will simply replace your SX-200 ML/EL/Digital Controller with an SX-200 ICP controller.

Current - There is no charge to Mitel-certified technicians for technical consultation during normal business hours.  Charges apply to after hours non-emergencies.

 

Discontinued – Chargeable – all technical consultation is chargeable.

 

Discontinued – No Support - Technical consultation is no longer provided. Mitel will continue to provide online access to all existing technical support bulletins for these products via Mitel Online.  In the event a system is

totally out of service we will provide billable best effort support.
